This beautiful Malawi garnet is a strong purplish red color with some pink flashes because it contains spessartine, pyrope and almandine garnet types. We obtain the rough Malawi garnets directly from the mine owner. Loren cut this stone in a hexagon design called Fritillaria by Marco Voltillini.
