A 1680 carat colorless topaz, known as the “Braganza Diamond” is one of the well-known Topaz gemstones ever found in the history of gemology. This gem beautifully adorns the Portuguese crown. Initially, the gemstone was believed to be the largest diamond found to date, until its real identity as a Topaz gemstone came out.

The most valuable color of natural topaz is red and known as Imperial Topaz. It was first discovered in Brazil as well as in the Ural Mountains of Russia. It was used in the Imperial Jewels of Russia and named after the Russian Czars of the 18th and 19th centuries.
