The rough for this aquamarine came from Nigeria. This stone is cut with high brilliance. It does have an inclusion you can see in the main photo in the lower-right. But to the naked eye it is hardly noticeable.

In 1936 the Brazilian president gave Eleanor Roosevelt a 1,298 carat aquamarine. The gemstone now resides in the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library.
